Love
Lets face it, the world isnt exactly a loving place. Just like adults, kids have a need and a desire to be truly loved to be accepted for who they are, to be treated with respect, and to be seen as important. We are devoted to letting every child who walks through our doors know that they are loved-by God and by us.
Truth
Kids are daily bombarded with destructive lies, and the St. Pete Vineyard wants to arm them with the Truth they need to combat the negative things told them by the world. Gods Word can provide children with the courage they may need to face the negative things told them by the world. If they mistakenly believe that they are unimportant, they need to be taught that they were lovingly and wonderfully designed by God for a purpose. If they think they have nothing special to offer, they need to first be told that God gave them talents to share with others, and then provided an opportunity to use and develop those gifts. The Truth found in Gods Word is powerful, and we seek to equip our children with it.
Life
We also endeavor to be a place full of life. We believe that following Jesus and learning about Him should not be boring. In fact, the Christian life should be an adventure! Should your children become a part of our kids ministry, they will discover dynamic lessons that could include music, games, crafts, stories, or dramatic play on any given Sunday. Monthly newsletters will help you stay informed about the themes they are studying, as well as numerous other fun activities we sponsor throughout the year such as pizza parties, movie nights, ball games in the park, and the Heroes Festival on Halloween.

The St. Pete Vineyard highly values kids! We arent a church that simply offers babysitting to keep children out of the way during services. Nor do we merely entertain kids with meaningless activities. Instead, we view childrens ministry as an opportunity to both teach and model spiritual stuff. We welcome the children's participation in our corporate worship time, and then dismiss them for age-appropriate lesson time. We aim to be a place where your kids can find love, truth and life.
