We aren't a church that simply offers babysitting to keep children out of the way during services. Nor do we merely entertain kids with meaningless activities. Instead, we view children's ministry as an opportunity to both teach and model spiritual stuff. 

We aim to be a place where your kids can find love, truth and life.

Vineyard Kids

At the Vineyard, we kind of have a saying. 
There is no Junior Holy Spirit.

That's kind of our way of expressing our belief that the same God that lives and works through each of us, inhabits and works in our children as well.

We do not minimize the power of God in their lives, and for that reason, our children's ministry is not a babysitting service.  Its a chance to invest in young lives!  Jesus himself often spoke of the crucial role that children play in Gods Kingdom! How can we view our kids as anything less than what our Lord Himself recognizes!

It is the aim and priority of the Vineyard Kids ministry to

1.    recognize the full power of the Holy Spirit working in our children and cultivate each child's spiritual gifts

2.    equip strong families

3.    provide a safe and loving environment for our kids.
 
Vineyard kids meet in three different groups on Sunday. You may sign your children in with their teacher any time between 9:45 am and 10:05 am in the age-appropriate classroom. At sign in you will receive a non-transferable wristband with your own number. You will need this wristband in order to pick up your children after service.

Genesis:  This is where children begin their faith journey. Genesis is for ages birth-2 years old.  In Genesis kids receive loving nurturing as they begin to worship the Lord through age appropriate songs and stories. The nursery is located directly behind the sanctuary.

Pit Stop:  The faith journey continues here for children ages 3-6. Pre-school and young elementary school aged children, using the Little SonShine curriculum, begin to understand Bible stories, put together the pieces of Gods great story, and reinforce what they have learned through developmentally appropriate activities such as crafts, games, and songs.  The Pit Stop is located in the courtyard classrooms.

Hiz Kidz:  This class is for elementary school aged children 6-11.  In this class we really start to put it all together to see Gods Big Picture.  In fact, that is the name of our curriculum!  Learning doesn't have to be boring!  In fact, we think it shouldn't be!  Bible stories are taught and reinforced in ways that appeal to every learning style so that all kids are able to excel and have a great experience!  The Hiz Kidz classroom is also located in the courtyard.
