Ken Long - Worship Leader
Born and raised in St. Petersburg in a Christian home, Ken has been involved in music ministries for most, if not all, of his life. His life's passion is to see a global body of believers fully aware of their identity in Christ, freely worshiping God, completely disregarding how foolish or ridiculous that expression of worship might appear to be. Ken has been married to his teenage sweetheart, Amber since 1995 and they have two boys, Ethan and Jackson. When not listening to or singing some sort of music, Ken's spends his days as a software consultant. In the free times between music and work, Ken loves seeing what his boys can build with the way too many Legos they own, watching the Rays (and, sadly) the Bucs play and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
The verse: Hebrews 10:16-17: 16"This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." 17Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." The movie(s) of choice: Ken can't turn the channel when either of the following movies are on...Forrest Gump, JFK, Field of Dreams, The Karate Kid (especially if it's the scene with "You're the Best (Around)") or (sadly) Mean Girls. |
