Hi SPV Family,
Patricia here, Are you looking for answers to questions you already have the answer to? Mom can I? Please...Please... Mommy can I ? Pleassssssse. As kids we would ask our mom the same question over and over again, hoping we could wear mom down and she would change her mind. I learned as a mom that you could say NO, a hundred times and if you say nothing one time then it becomes a yes in the child's mind. I have been asking God a question that I already had the answer to, hoping that the answer would be different this time. I didn't get an answer to my question and I heard nothing from the Lord. Was the answer a yes? I already had my answer and I had to stop asking the question and focus on what I knew was the ministry God gave me years ago. Often times we look for an answer to what or where God wants us to be, and we hear nothing because he has already revealed his will to us. What does God want us to do and what is our ministry? I found the answer in 1 Peter 2:9, "You are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Just as Jesus became our High Priest (Hebrew 3:1) through his death and shed blood, he made us a kingdom of priests for God his father. Revelation 1:5,6 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.As a kingdom of priests we are called to be a mediator between God and man. We have the awesome privilege to bring "all people, all situations and all the world" into the throne room of God, to show others the goodness of God. Romans 2:4 says The goodness of God leads us into repentance. Often there are things and situations that get in the way of serving in our priestly duties. We cannot serve as priests without the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, he is the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead. When we as priests allow the Holy Spirit to work through us, to bring all people, all situations and all the world into God's throne room then we show the goodness of God. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we can change our world, we can make a difference, step into the calling of a kingdom of royal priests. If you are asking the questions where can I serve, how can I serve, what is my calling consider meeting him in the throne room. Let's show the goodness of God to a world that needs His love by stepping into our calling. From darkness into his wonderful light. Blessings and love, Patricia |
